The Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association publishes prices of gold and silver after eight days due to the agitation of gold and silver traders. The traders were protesting against two percent luxury tax imposed on gold and silver and VAT imposed on precious stones including daimonds.
However, on Thursday, July 10, the agitating traders and the government reached a six-point agreement following which the traders suspended all programs related to agitation.

According to the Federation, the price of fine gold is Rs 191,800 per tola today.
The gold price decreased by Rs 300 per tola compared to the last trading day. On July 3, the price of fine gold was Rs 192,100 per tola.
Meanwhile, the silver price gained Rs 50 to Rs 2,220 per tola today.
